Who Will Be The Leader of the Shield?

In every stable, there needs to be a leader, someone who commands the troops and is the mastermind behind the whole plan.

Since their debut, the Shield has been a dominate force in the WWE.  The three together have even put Ryback, WWE's strongest athlete, on the mat more often than anyone else on the roster.  One of these three has to have been control, but who?

There is a lot of speculation that Dean Ambrose is the mastermind, the leader.  I agree with everyone else, that would be awesome, but I have a hunch it's going to be Roman Reigns to be the groups leader.  A few things point me in that direction

First, we know nothing about him.  Dean and Seth were both on deck to jump to the main roster.  There has been rumors since Wrestlemania that these guys would be moving up in the near future.  Roman Reigns I knew little about.  Is that what they want everyone to think?

Second,  He is the most dominant.  So far, he has been pushed as the muscle and the strongest person out of the group.  He is also the only one we've actually seen do any wrestling moves.  The other 2 have just beat their opponents to a pulp.

Which leads me to my third clue,  their finishing move.  The jacked up power bomb that they do is an extremely strong move that no other trio has done before.  But once again, who is doing the move, Roman Reigns.  Dean and Seth are merely slamming the opponent down.

These lead me to believe he is leader.  I could be wrong, what do you think?

How "The Rock" Has Ruined Wrestling

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of The Rock and Dwayne Johnson.  He has made wrestling what it is today and was a huge part of the Attitude Era.  You ask anyone on the street is, young or old, and they know who The Rock or Dwayne Johnson are.

In 2004, The Rock made his departure from the WWE to pursue his acting career.  Since then he has made many stops back in the WWE to taunt or just bring some old school back to Raw.  I'm all for any pro wrestler pursuing and acting career and making surprise appearances.  Even participating in matches at only pay per views like Undertaker and Brock Lesner do, I'm all for.

The problem with The Rock is announcing the matches he is in so far in advance.  We all know wrestling in scripted and we know there is usually a direction they are heading.  But when a wrestler announces a match a year or 6 months in advance, then disappears is where I have the problem.

If every match is like this, why even watch the stuff that happens in the middle.  Currently the only words or actions traded back and forth between the Rock and CM Punk have been through Twitter.

I think The Rock facing CM Punk (or whoever holds the title) is a great idea.  But why did we have to hear about it in August?  It has also ruined the current reign of CM Punk.  If the Royal Rumble championship match,  I think it would have added more suspense every time CM Punk defended the belt.  It also made it more obvious that every opponent he faces is just biding his time until January.

The situation itself has already posed a problem for their current story-line with CM Punk's injury.  By typical WWE rules, a title needs to be defended at least every 30 days.  They have stripped Shawn Michaels and John Cena in the past because of this.  Somehow the rules don't apply to CM Punk now that he won't defend it at TLC.
